Edward Tedtmann has been successfully involved in all aspects of real estate brokerage, as a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Florida, Ohio, and Indiana. He started in land brokerage in Greater Cincinnati 1974, with one of the 12 largest realty firms in the country. He quickly rose to rank in the top 5%, of 465 associates in dollar volume in the commercial division. Mr. Tedtmann completed all the Realtor Land Institute (RLI) Courses, and was elected as Executive Vice President of the Ohio Chapter, and through the RLI he initiated change in the Ohio real estate license law. Intensive training in commercial and investment real estate prepared him to work diligently in the greater Cincinnati urban market, where he continued to excel.
In 1983, Mr. Tedtmann was contracted as a subcontractor with AT&T, as Site Acquisition Manager for the cellular communications network, in the mid-west, and west coast, and later, in 1996 as Site Acquisition Manager, in the South Florida market.
In 1984 Mr. Tedtmann moved with his family to the City of Wellington located in Palm Beach County, Florida; where he became a licensed Florida real estate broker practicing commercial real estate in Palm Beach, Broward and Martin Counties. In 1986 Edward founded Tedtmann, Inc., a local real estate company; located in downtown West Palm Beach the company represented commercial and industrial properties. In 1998, he created Catalyst Real Estate Services. Some of his clients included Rinker Materials, and Westinghouse Corporation. Mr. Tedtmann has represented real properties valued at more than $27,500,000. He joined HAWRE in 2009 as a Senior Associate.
Mr. Tedtmann earned his B.A. from the University of Cincinnati with a minor in Business Administration; his curriculum included some real estate courses. He also earned his Master’s Degree in Community Planning from the same university. Finally, he attained his certification in Construction Management from Florida Atlantic University.
Edward has held leadership positions in local and state Realtor organizations, including the local Realtors Commercial Alliance, and National Realtor organization committees. He is also active in local community and charitable organizations.
